the funniest girl i know...

Today is February 8th, better known as the funniest girl in the world's birthday, Maura Ann.  Maura is one of my closest friends, and one of the few people who can make me laugh until it hurts.  I met Maura twenty years ago on the playground of our nursery school.  We obviously fell in love with each other as 4 year olds which proves that we are soul mates.  She is the one person who gets my sick jokes, can make me laugh, and is one of the only other people in this world that loves me unconditionally and is not my mom.Maura is what I like to call my rock, she has been one of the most constant people in my life and I always know she will.  She is like another sister and will be an aunt to my children.

The best thing about Maura and I is our sense of humor; there are only certain sick jokes that she and I get and our other girlfriends look at us like we are crazy...because we are and our bond is special.  Usually at sleepovers, Mo and I stay up later than everyone else and just crack eachother up laughing.  There are numerous videos and pictures of our laughs (please see below).  One night drunk while proclaiming our love for one another, we agreed that we wish one of us was a man because we'd be the perfect couple.  Our other friends overheard us and never let us live it down, but I do not care because like Carrie said on Sex and the City,
"Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates and guys are just people to have fun with."
I 100% agree with that because I have found my soulmates, my girlfriends - I am just looking for a man who is ready to come along on the ride with us!

Happy Birthday 24th Birthday, Maura! How cool is that to say I have spent 20 birthday's with this chick and only more to come.. not many can!

Hi! My name is Jenna, it is lovely to meet you.

I really never thought I had a difficult first name; it's my last name that's hard to spell and pronounce.  But recently everyone has been getting my name wrong.  I am constantly laughing at the names I have been called at work.

I am constantly being called Jenny, but I blame that on my fast Jersey accent.  I say my name to fast and with my last name starting with a vowel, it could sound like Jenny.

A new customer at my company called me Zenna; then he apologized and corrected himself and called me Janna.

A customer I work with monthly always sends me a little holiday treat.  This year the card read, "Janet, thank you for all you do."

This is great... I just got to laugh it off....Does anyone ever call you the wrong name?

My dad is really bad at this too.. he can not remember anyone's name.  He constantly calls my best friend (who is like a second child to him) Elyse instead of Alyssa

Couponing

A new favorite show of mine is TLC's "Extreme Couponing."  If you do not know what "Extreme Couponing" is about you are definitely missing out.  "Extreme Couponing" literally is what the title states; it is people who extreme coupon!  It is CRAZY.  People go to the food store and rack up a grocery bill of $1,200 and only spend $.25!!!  It is extremely interesting to watch and addicting.  Moreover, it makes you think if these crazy people can do it... why can't I?

While I LOVE the show, it is a little ridiculous.  Like I do not need nor hope to ever need 1,000 deodorants. In addition, it is one thing to take something for free (who doesn't love a good bargain!) but to take 28 of the free items, c'mon!

So I decided I am going to start to coupon and we all should!  I am starting small... everything I want or need to buy, I must have some sort of coupon to use with the transaction.  You can find coupons everywhere, but the best place is the internet.  Below are some links to my favorite blog sites:
In addition to organize my new hobby, I created a coupon book to keep in my purse with all my coupons.

Find/buy a book to store your coupons
(I found mine at a dollar store)

Create categories & labels based on your coupon needs
(ie. clothes, shoes, makeup, resturaunts)
Arrange your labels within your coupon book

Organize & cut coupons to place in the book

Place coupons in the coupon book

Take the coupon book wherever you go...
it is so small that it can be kept in your purse.
You never know when you'll need a coupon!

I literally was at Macy's last night and pulled my invention out and made the woman ringing me up laugh because it was funny but then she stated how smart and what a great idea that was!

ENJOY & start saving!
