I have fallen in love with a little vine star, Terrio.  He is a little boy who dances pretty well.  Not only is his dancing amazing, but his cousins commentary are hysterical and will instantly make you laugh.

I am not going to lie, I have the best and funniest family.  Everyone in my family literally cracks me up laughing (well most of them).  Anywho, my sister got married in the fall.  I was the maid of honor and my 3 cousins were bridesmaids.  Now of these cousins, we are a group of 11: 10 girls and 1 boy.  The one boy is ironically the oldest therefore the first grandchild and therefore the king of the family.  So naturally at the wedding, we took our typical cousins picture.  We are a good looking group and our pictures are always great, but this picture is even better.  The photographer put the one boy cousin dead center in the front (did I mention he is also 6'3"") next to the baby cousin who is 12 years old.  She positioned him in manner where he sat up awkwardly tall and stands out next to us 10 girls.  The picture is hysterical; honestly I have this hung up in my cube and look at it whenever I need to laugh.  My boy cousin looks like buddy the elf in the little small classroom with the little elves next to us.

Girl Code

It seems as if my television watching has decreased recently, I don't know if it is because I am incredibly busy or maybe it is because there is nothing worth watching on television anymore.  Seriously what has happened with these shows today; I wish they would bring TGIF back... now that is something I would watch.

Anyways, my roommate got me hooked on probably the funniest show on MTV that really causing belly laughs.  It is called "Girl Code."  It is a spin off on MTV"s "Guy Code," and is really spot on.  The show discusses the everyday female problems being presented by famous and not so famous comedians.  It is hysterical and the cover things from what to eat on the first date to whether it is okay to poop at your boyfriend's house or not.  If you are a girl and not watching "Girl Code" you are missing out... get on it!

I do not think there is a funnier movie than "Pitch Perfect."  When ever I am having a lousy day or need to laugh, all I need to do is watch this movie.  It is beyond hysterical, and I think it is a movie enjoyed by all people of all ages.  It is going down in the books as a classic.  I love it so much that now I find myself quoting lines and listening to the songs as I run at the gym.  Here is a clip from the funny parts of the movie;

My Hot HOT summer

I hate being hot.  I love the sun, but need to be near a pool, ocean, or air conditioner to cool off while I enjoy the sun.  This past summer has been extreme, the heat is getting a tad bit obnoxious.  Not to mention I live in a beach house with other people taking up my cold air.  So everyone knows how cranky I am about the heat and sweating (which I call glistening), so they stay out of my way and keep me cool.  But in actuality, they really just make fun of me while I stand in the freezer or place ice cubs in my bathing suit.  So one of my good friends came across this video and emailed it to me on a hot summer day.  It was the perfect work break to watch and laugh in my cube.

 

This lady is so on point, I did not ask for this heat nor do I like it!  While she is a little extreme, it is hysterical to watch and laugh at.  PREACH woman!

I have a confession to make...

I am addicted to Robin Thicke's song "Blurred Lines." I have never had a song that makes me want to dance as much as this song does.  Word has it that it is the song of the summer for its catchy beats, and I can attest.  Every weekend at the beach, whether being in my house with roommates or at a bar with hundreds of people, when "Blurred Lines" comes on... places go crazy!

While I LOVE this song... the lyrics have become a huge debate in my beach house.  At one point in the song Robin Thicke proclaims, "what rhymes with hug me..." and then continues to laugh and sing.  Now this has caused huge debate because there are many things that in fact rhyme with hug me!  

I could not help but laugh when I read a Monday BuzzFeed article "18 Words Robin Thicke Should Know Rhyme With "Hug Me"".  I am glad I am not the only one confused and debating with people about what Robin Thicke actually means... I guess we will never know!

But what a better way to kick off Friday then my favorite weekend beat!  Enjoy!

Yesterday, July 4th, marked the 5th anniversary of my best friends and I tradition of never spending this holiday without one another.  5 years ago as underage 20 year olds, we made a pact to always be together on the 4th of July, because before that... we always were.

This was more than just a pact to be together on this holiday but for our friendship to one another.  I truly am blessed to have the best friends in the world.  I am so proud to proclaim that I have the same best friends for almost 20 years!  I have never met a group of people that make me laugh or laugh with me than they do.

I wish I knew who showed this video to me, because this video is responsible for many of my laughs over the past decade.  I do not even know how to explain, but  this may be one of the funniest videos you will ever watch.  I will not lie, when I am having a bad day, I just put on this video and am instantly in a better mood because of it.

I am traveling on business at the moment in the beautiful New Orleans, Louisiana.  I am super excited because I have never been here before and I am more excited I get to watch "True Blood" this Sunday in the setting of the show!  No funnies for now... but stay tuned... there are laughs to come!

Snap Chats

I do not know about you, but me and ALL my family and friends are pretty obsessed with snap chat.

I do not know what is more fun... making the snap chat or receiving the snap chat.  Because your contacts can only view the picture for only some odd seconds and no one will ever see the hideous picture again., people get pretty creative with their shots.

We are 25 years old and I snap chat with my college friends, high school friends, co-workers, and even my aunt.  It is hysterical and the highlight of my day to kind of see all my favorite people everyday!

Some of the pictures just make me laugh, and I am able to steal a screenshot to save the picture FOREVER.

As a new YouTube junkie, I have my favorite YouTube stars.  One "celeb" that will always make me laugh is  "Daily Grace."

For this week's Friday Funny I tried to find the best video that made me laugh the most... but all her videos make me laugh.  But her Tuesday comments may be the best.... Grace comments on all her social media comments and basically makes fun of her fans or as she likes to call it "hazes the crap out of it."  It is hysterical.

"I am a butterfly..."

This past weekend in my town, there was a seafood festival.  This s a BIG event in my town because it is amazing.  There is AMAZING food, great vendors, and just fun activities to do with family & friends.  This past Sunday, I went with my two best friends, Marissa and Kate.  Now if you could not tell by now, I am a really loud and funny person (or so I think).  I love making my family and friends laugh.

So as we were walking to the festival on this hot summer day, Kate dared me to get my face painted.  Being the crazy person I am, I said I would as long as there was not a line of kids waiting because then that would just be rude.

No lie, as soon as we stepped foot on the festival, face painting was the first booth I saw and guess what ... there was no line.  So Kate and Marissa pushed me to do it and how could I back out on a dare?!  So I sat down as a 25 year old next to a 6 year old and got painted to be a beautiful butterfly!

So as the day went on, we ended at the local bar, Djais and again I was dared to go in with my face painted, so I did it!  So many people wanted to be my friend and know where I got my face painted.  I had the time of my life, laughing, dancing, and drinking with my best friends as a beautiful butterfly.

Sniper Jenny

This past Friday, Kate and I got to our beach house first before all the other roommates.  Naturally, we were excited because it was our weekend.  We were ready for fun, sun, and laughs with our roommates.  I forgot that the weekend before I ordered our house a big garbage can from Amazon because we needed it.  So we took the new garbage can out together and were left with this big box!  

So what were we to do?! C'mon...have you met me?  

Now I am a short girl (only 5'2'') so Kate put me in the box and we waited for our roommates to arrive at the house for me to jump out and Kate to video tape it (or in this case vine it).  It became so much fun and one by one all of our roommates joined in on the fun!  

Below is the best scare I got... poor Lauren.  I felt so bad making her scream in freight as I did, but she laughs about it now.  And when you watch the video you will see and hear us all laughing.

Friday Funnies

So as you know I am in my mid-twenties and just moved into my beach house last Friday with 15 of my best friends (don't worry it is a big house - 2 to a room).  It was such a fun weekend full of too many laughs; I literally think my abs got a work out because I laughed so hard.  It was so much fun and I cannot wait to head down tomorrow.

This week's Friday Funny is dedicated to a vine we made this weekend that I think I have showed everyone because it makes me laugh so hard.  It was unfortunately really cold and rainy this weekend at the beach.  Therefore we could not bathe on the beach or even drink outside in the backyard.  All 15 of us were stuck inside together.  So as Saturday went on... we got a little delirious.  As many beach houses do, we have a lot of pong balls for obvious reasons.  It started with one room mate throwing a pong ball in the air at the ceiling fan, then it just caught on until we were all throwing pong balls at the ceiling fan together.  It really was hysterical.  Then this turned into a game of almost like musical chairs, we kept eliminating a pong ball and racing to get the last balls.  If you didn't get a ball, you were out.  We probably played this for a good hour  and just laughed and laughed and laughed!

Today marks the start of a new summer...

No doubt I will have many posts to come because all we do is laugh, laugh, laugh in our beach house.

My Funny Parents

I like to think I am funny. People tell me so. I think I am funny because of my genetics. My parent's are very funny, and it is a constant debate in my house who is funnier... my mom or my dad?

They are both different types of funny and they both make me laugh. My dad has the best sense of humor and is extremely sarcastic ( I am ALIKE like him). My mom is very witty, which makes me laugh... but she is my biggest supporter, especially when it comes to laughing at my jokes; I can always make her laugh.

I call my parent's my roommates, because unfortunately I am 25 and still live at home.  It sounds cooler to call them roomies than admit I still live with my parents. ;But they are great... I have like my own apartment upstairs, I have dinner waiting for me every night, and they could care less what time I stumbled home at night as long as I take my heels off in the garage!

Well my roommates left me for a week to go on a vacation to Aruba. It was so nice to have alone time and the house to myself. But being alone gets lonely (DUH), and made me realize how much I appreciate my roommate. ;Also it reminded me, how much I actually like my parents as friends and not just as my creators (which is something else I call them).

So here's to my amazing parents.... the reason I started to laugh, my biggest supporters, loudest cheerleaders, and best friends.

Friday Funnies

I am a YouTube junkie, I have a problem and I blame our newest intern, Gabby, who has gotten me hooked.  I cannot stop watching YouTube videos, they make me laugh so hard.  Well here is my Friday Funny that has had me cracking up all week, it is the "Kiss Cam BreakUp."

At most baseball game's during the 7th inning stretch, the jumbo tron picks people throughout the stadium to focus on.  At this particular stadium they have a "kiss cam," where when a couple see's themselves on the screen they are supposed to kiss.  Usually it goes smoothly and the couples cooperate and are excited to kiss.   In this situation, it does not end up in the stereotypical kiss... watch the clip below.  Hope you laugh and have a great weekend!

Vine

I have a new addiction.  And of course it is the new social media, Vine.  It is the funnest social media where you can make your own 20 second video.  Vine is connected with Twitter, so you automatically have followers based upon your twitter handle.  Then you can also hashtag your Vine, and friends can like and comment on the Vine as most social media's allow.

It is hysterical; I am obsessed.  I find myself wasting SO much time on Vine, watching my friends Vine's, watching their friend's Vine's, and laughing alone in my bed before I start my day.

If you are not on Vine yet, I highly recommend it.  You are missing out on great laughs caused by close friends and even strangers.  And by not embracing new social medias and or trends, you are out-dating yourself.  Social media keeps you young (coming from an addict).

Here is an example of a Vine.  I think it is one of my best yet as it uses different segments  and people.  My friend's and I had a barbecue and for some strange (but nice) reason my friend, Lia, waited on me all night.  I guess I sat in the right chair because I was far away from the door so everything I needed, she offered to get for me.  It was nice of her, but funny.  It made us laugh because I don't even think she realized how overly nice she was being (but I appreciated it!)  So I started to call her my slave all night, which was the idea behind this Vine.

Friday Funnies

So to hold myself accountable to write on for my blog every week, I have created "Friday Funnies."  This will be where I share something that really made me laugh this week.  It could be a story, a tweet, a video, something short and sweet and to the point!

So if you know me at all (or my taste in men), if you can make me laugh, I will automatically fall in love with you.  Some of my family members and best friends are the funniest people I know and I think that is why I love and adore them so much.  If you can make me laugh, you have my heart.  I am not just looking for the special guy to make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts...where is he, I am waiting?!

So anyway back to Friday Funnies.  There is nothing sexier to me than funny men.  Jimmy Fallon and John Krasinski have it going on and they always make me laugh.  This past week John Krasinski was a guest on Jimmy Fallon's late night show and they had a lip sync contest.  A co-worker shared this with me on Wednesday because she knows my love for Jimmy Fallon and I cannot stop watching (and laughing) as I watch this video of two of the funniest men battle and lip sync to ridiculous songs!  Enjoy and keep on laughing!

Hey... Me Again!

It’s been awhile.  Actually it’s been a year and 3 months to be exact.  I fell off the blog bandwagon and I sincerely apologize.  Life got crazy…but I have been laughing along the way.

Here is what you missed…

• I lived in Belmar, New Jersey for Summer 2012 and laughed harder than I ever had! (I am moving into the same house with my friends this Memorial Day weekend and plan on doing a better job at recording the laughs.)

• I got promoted.  I am now a Community Engagement Leader at my company. 

2013 has been pretty good to me.  I am loving life and laughing my way through.  Look forward to laughing the summer away with you.
